Hervé OLIEL has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2006.
He has dual financial and fiscal competence. Holder of a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Accounting and Finance (DESCF), a DESS in financial management and taxation and a DESS in commercial enterprise law, he began his career in an accounting and auditing firm, before holding the position of Tax Director for nearly ten years, successively for the Liaisons Group and Éditions Lamy.
After this corporate experience, he began a career as a tax lawyer at CEJEF-ALEXEN, where he acquired a solid practice in wealth and international taxation for five years.
He joined WAN Avocats in 2011 as a partner, in charge of the tax department. He assists his clients in the restructuring of groups of companies, wealth tax optimization, international taxation, as well as in tax audits and litigation. He also advises on the legal and tax aspects of corporate equity transactions.
Author and scientific director of Lamy Fiscal, he initiated and directed the creation of the Lamy Optimisation Fiscale de l'Entreprise (2002) and the Lamy Contrôle Fiscal et Contentieux (2005).
Hervé OLIEL is also a lecturer in Advanced Taxation in the Master's Degree in Taxation/Finance at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
He is a member of the Institute of Tax Lawyers (IACF), the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Compagnie des Conseils et Experts Financiers (CCEF). He works in both French and English.
